Electric Vehicle Add-On Systems (EVAOS, Inc.) was established to design and develop plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) kits to convert new and/or used trucks to plug-in hybrids.

EVAOS-equipped trucks retain their original gas engines and transmissions, providing for ease of hybrid system installation. Three different driving modes are available:

• All-electric mode for maximum fuel savings
• Hybrid mode for longer trips or extra towing power
• Conventional mode for extended range

EVAOS systems can provide exportable power for external electrical equipment in locations where the electrical grid is unavailable.
